東京外国語大学インターン生活動報告

エムールは、複数年に渡って地域大学の留学生インターンシップの受け入れを行っており、本年度も、国立大学法人東京外国語大学より2名のインターン生が当社事業に参画されています。
本日、インターン生のレオナルドさんが期間満了で卒業となりますので、オフィシャルサイトのNEWSにて下記の通り、ご報告いたします。

【レオナルドさんの感想】
I am from Brazil, and since my childhood, I always have been interested in Japan, as well, I always wanted to learn Japanese. On 2017 I started studying Japanese at Federal University of Parana. Also, since High school, I enjoy using editing programs like Photoshop or Illustrator as a hobby, since then I have always wanted to do this as a professional. In August last year (2019), I had the chance to make one of my dreams come true, and through the Tokyo University of Foreign Studies’ one-year exchange program I came to Japan to study. At the scholarship I got, it is obligatory to do internship for about 2 weeks. They showed me various companies, and when I saw EMOOR and what they were looking for, I got very really excited about it. As a job, I was responsible for updating the website pages, as well as creating the banner design, products data and subsidiary materials. I learned a lot from this internship, for example, I had to think not only about how to produce something visually pleasing, but also something attractive. Moreover, it was about the Japanese way of thinking, which, depending on the product, affects how it is presented. In the end, it was a month of great learning, which gave me a lot of growth. Working as an intern at EMOOR was the perfect combination of my wishes, since it was doing something I like while being in Japan. I was very nervous about it, because it’s a company with several jargons, moreover, they are jargons in Japanese, so I was nervous about if I would really understand what they had asked to be done, or if what I was doing was correct. But my years of study have borne fruit, and I managed to meet all the goals. and even if the task was really complex, everyone at EMOOR was very kind and helped me all the time. The working place is great as well, EMOOR has a unique style, which made the environment very pleasant. I enjoyed every single day, even if it was busy. Working at EMOOR was truly a great experience for my life and career. and I hope I can work in a place like EMOOR in the future, I feel I can learn more and make great progress.
